Just when they thought it was over Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo logged on to the World Wide Web to see the now infamous photos of their nude run through a Mexican resort printed in a Spanish magazine. The comments weren't pretty, and certainly their attorney did everything possible to stop the photos from being published.

But a report from Mike Walker of the national Enquirer claims that despite their struggles with the wild photos they will soon be headed for the altar as they are picking out rings.

He reports: Hot on the heels of The Enquirer's scoop that Nick Lachey's ring-shopping as he gets set to pop the question to Vanessa Minnillo, My Spywitness ogled him fingering diamond engagement blings at Cartier's in Seattle.

Two items fascinated Nick: A platinum band with a solitaire princess-cut diamond called "Declaration", and a 5-carat emerald-cut stone set off by baguette diamonds. Nick told the salesgirl he wasn't ready to buy "just yet - but I think I've narrowed it down to two."
