I got a chuckle when I read that Zanessa (Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens) were being compared to Brangelina (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie). Both couples have cool nicknames and met while they were filming movies but it certainly seems that the similarities ends there. There are a ton of differences between the foursome.

Brad and Angie have pretty much used up all of their star status. Jolie burnout seemed to hit a fever pitch when she adopted her last child. “Maybe people don’t like her because she went and got a 3-year-old from Vietnam and renamed him Pax. She’s probably screaming, ‘Pax, Pax,’ all over the house and Pax is looking around thinking, ‘Who the hell is Pax?, Chelsea Handler, host of E!’s Chelsea Lately joked earlier. It’s fashionable now to slam Brangelina.

Not so much yet with Zanessa. They are off a huge weekend with High School Musical 2 mowing down records. They have a ton of fans and just a few detractors while the opposite seems to be the case with Jolie and Pitt. Plus people still watch Zac and Vanessa perform. Jolie’s last film “A Mighty Heart” was an absolute box office dud.

Both couples do get their fair share of rumors. Zac and Vanessa are supposedly ready to back off their young relationship and depending on the report Brad and Angie are either quitting or having even more kids to dump off with nannies.

Jolie and Pitt have lost their magic, now observers seem to be cheering their demise. Zac and Vanessa are just now really hitting stride.
