Britney Spears MTV VMA Video: Lip-Synching Train Wreck Online

Britney Spears showed up in Las Vegas.  That may have been a mistake.  The highly anticipated return of Britney was an absolute disaster.  Britney showed up in some sort of a bikini outfit and lip-synched part of her latest "Gimme More."  She was stumbling, missing cues and apparently has lost any ability she once had to dance.

At one point during the song she literally gave up lip-synching and just stood there.  It was an absolute disaster.  Gimme more turned into gimme less very quickly.

Blogging at D-Listed, Michael K was unimpressed: "Was she stoned?! Did she not care? Did she think this was a rehearsal? I mean......that was it? For real?! They are joking right? Where were the mirrors? I'm so.. confused."

Continuing, "I could have dressed a sack of potatoes up in a sequined bikini and turned a tired track on and have gotten a better performance and better lip-synching skills. REFUND!"

***

Hard to argue.  Did Criss Angel bail on her after reading the writing on the wall?  There was some polite applause but she certainly didn't bring the house down.  She's lucky she wasn't booed off the stage.

It may be over for the former pop star.  The whole awful performance is now online and ready for your eyes and ears to listen to Britney blow it baby one more time.   See the video here.
