The canine comedy "Marley & Me" seemed like a perfect fit for Jennifer Aniston opposite Owen Wilson, but production on that film has been pushed back at least until spring, following Wilson's recent suicide attempt and subsequent hospitalization. But now reports are that Owen is ready to get busy with Jennifer and get back to work.

According to a report from Life & Style Weekly magazine Wilson doesn't want Hollywood to forget him as he recovers from his August suicide attempt. After being replaced by Matthew McConaughey in Tropic Thunder, Owen, 38, is determined to start shooting Marley & Me with Jennifer Aniston very early next year, according to an insider that is cited in the story.

"His identity is as an actor, so he feels pretty useless right now," the insider tells the weekly entertainment magazine. Family members, who are spending lots of time with Owen these days, worry that the star's trying to return to work too soon.

"They want him to be comfortable in his own skin before he jumps into someone else's," says the insider. But Dr. Mario Finkelstein, who specializes in addiction medicine, says Owen should be OK as long as "he's motivated to get well and receive treatment."
