Is this an American love story?  Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn, her "Break Up" star and real life break up of about a year ago, are again close a report from Life & Style claims this week.  The pair were spotted snuggling and being very friendly by witnesses at the posh Bar Nineteen 12 in the Beverly Hills Hotel recently, the weekly entertainment magazine reports.

"They were having fun, talking and laughing", says a witness.  "They were chatting away like old friends".   The story then adds the inevitable, "Or friends with benefits?"  It's been almost a year off for the couple dubbed Vaughniston as the pair officially split last December.

Though they didn't get romantic that night, a friend says, they’re close to giving their relationship another try.  “They have strong feelings for each other and have been talking about getting back together for weeks”, says a friend.   Apparently they are burning up the phone lines chatting it up and flirting.

This all began when Jen, 38, started filming on location in Portland, Oregon, for her new film Management.  “Jen says she started feeling extremely isolated and got in the habit of calling Vince just before she went to bed”, says the friend.  “It wasn’t long before they started making plans to get together in person.”

The story notes that the chatty friend says Jen and Vince aren’t getting physical just yet, but the pair share their most intimate secrets with each other.  After all, says the friend, “these two came close to getting married.  All that has to happen now is for Jen to admit she made a mistake in dumping Vince, and I’m sure he’ll welcome her back with open arms.”

Cue the rep™:  Jen’s rep denies the story.
