When Mary say Byron’s snub on TV, she went berserk, The Enquirer reports that it has learned exclusively. According to Florida’s Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Mary punched bass fisherman, Byron, splitting his upper lip. She was arrested in Tampa for alleged domestic battery just after midnight on Nov. 21.
On the sixth season of “The Bachelor” in 2004, Byron chose Mary during the final rose ceremony. They recently appeared together in the Nov. 20 segment of the reunion show. “They were watching it at their friends’ house,” said a source. “On the stage at the taping she was unaware of this. She was embarrassed and furious. That was when she punched him. He was so mad he called the cops.” Violence is nothing new to Mary, says the source, who maintained she was “very physical” with her previous boyfriend.
“She has a very short fuse,” said the source. “I don’t think Byron had any idea she was such a volcano.” According to the source, Byron had promised to marry Mary in the coming year. “Now I don’t know what’s happening with them,” added the source. “I think she’s worry she hit him and he’s sorry he called the cops.”
