Jodie Foster has always kept her private life out of the limelight as best as she can. But fans have long wondered aloud about her sexuality and many a blind item has speculated that the brilliant actress has been involved with what they consider her life partner Cydney Bernard. After her latest speech, the lesbian buzz is again back.

Micheal K has a very good analysis: "Jodie Foster not only called herself a "gentleman" at the Hollywood Reporter breakfast a few days ago, but she also thanked Cydney Bernard. Apparently Cydney is Jodie's life partner," he says.

During the speech Jodie thanked her "beautiful Cydney who sticks with me through all the rotten and the bliss." Michael adds, "Lesbian love. There's nothing like it. You know Jodie hasn't officially come out, but who cares? She's being honest and she's not going around marrying men to make herself look straight."

More here with comments, "No, she's not waving a rainbow flag around, but she doesn't need to. Straight people don't go around saying "I'm straight everyone!" so why should Jodie have to come out." Michael K has a good point. Jodi should take it as slow as she wants or come out at her own pace. There are always going to be whispers but really, who cares, it is her life.
