Jennifer Love Hewitt has always turned heads in a skimpy bikini but never really this way.  The adorable brunette star of the CBS series "The Ghost Whisperer" was in Hawaii to celebrate her engagement to longtime boyfriend Ross McCall and in the process of that, was spied on the beach and snapped by the paparazzi.

The comments that followed were brutal.  Bloggers joked, 'I Know What You Did Last Summer" you ate everything in sight.   The photos were not bad, they were just not the usual Jennifer Love Hewitt fare of sexy snaps that showed off her cleavage and flat stomach.

Jennifer was fed up.  She struck back on her MySpace page and she made the cover of People Magazine.  She wrote on her web page. "To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image."

"Disputable photos were taken on a Hawaii beach while Jennifer was enjoying swimming with her fiancé, Scottish actor Ross McCall and paparazzi enjoyed photographing her cellulite.  She added that "a size 2 is not fat nor will it ever be, and that a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful.  To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini - put it on and stay strong."

She's right but she also sparked a lot of controversy with that whole "size 2" statement.  She was probably once that size but there is no way she is one now.  However, I still think it is admirable that she stood up for herself and her body.
