MTV's "The Hills" may be over for the season but off-screen the drama continues. Heidi Montag is fanning the flames and she says that her break-up with fiancée Spencer Pratt is real (as opposed to her breasts). But rest easy, they are still together, it's just the wedding is off.

Wait - what? Us Weekly has the "couple" on the cover and they have an exclusive interview in the new Us Weekly on newsstands today, as an often tense Montag and Pratt explain why their engagement ended, and claim they are still together – but with no plans to wed.

Says Montag,"We're just going back to being boyfriend and girlfriend..." as Pratt interjects without mockery, "...when our relationship was flawless." So where is Montag's engagement ring? "I turned it into a pendant," she says. "It wasn't my dream ring. I don't like what it represents. I might sell it."

Oh the humanity! Meanwhile, Pratt says he's sorry: "I need to accept that Heidi wants her princess wedding and that she is the boss." Montag, for her part, doesn't sound ready to give up quite yet: "I have a high tolerance for pain. I've lived with Spencer."
