They are but four leaked photos, but they have caused quite the uproar for Miley Cyrus. The star of the Hannah Montana series for the Disney Channel has been photographed playing around with one of her pals and the photographs have made their way to the Internet and now there are all sorts of accusations being tossed about.

The pictures seems like a bit of innocent fun between friends, and Miley has said just as much, but with her high profile it has been blown way out of proportion. The snaps first leaked out late in the week and exploded over the weekend.

Miley says it is just two innocent friends at a sleepover. That's probably fair, and it's a shame that whoever took them placed them online. The first photo shows Miley and her female friend sharing some candy together and could be construed as being extremely provocative as their lips are right together. See the photos here.

Two of the snaps show the girls in short skirts on the floor hamming it up for the cameras and one looks very close to a girls' make out session. Fans of Miley are very upset that the pictures were ever snapped let alone leaked online.

For Miley's part she has spoken out on the mini-controversy and without naming her girlfriend said that she is a "normal girl" that is one of her "best friends."
