The Iowa Caucus results are tricking in and it looks like a big night for Barack Obama and Mike Huckabee as they have have had huge nights. Both men have stormed from behind and rallied to victory in Iowa. Change is the key issue in Iowa on Thursday night and Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton will soon be spinning losses in the Caucus.
Iowa Caucus Results: Change!
It is also a decent night for Fred Thompson and John McCain. Weather was good in Iowa and turnout was very heavy and that gave a strong advantage to Barack Obama who can now be considered a frontrunner and the Associated Press has called the race for the US Senator for Illinois. Mitt Romney has tipped his hat to Mike Huckabee in the state and he will be desperate in New Hampshire. Huck has momentum.

The monster story is that Hillary Clinton may drop as low as third and she will need a huge rebound and expect the Clinton attack machine to oil up and be firing on all cylinders. It's unclear what Mitt Romney has left in his tank. Both need big moves in New Hampshire.
Longshot Ron Paul has roughly 10% right now and he will finish in fifth spot, at least according to the exit polls, which may be very disappointing to his ground troops in the state that were counting on a top three finish to give the ten-term Texas congressman a boost going into the Granite state. The chips are now stacked against Hillary and Mitt for the frontrunners and they will need a quick turnaround.

John McCain may be set up for a "comeback kid" type of role and has to leave Iowa very happy. It would be unwise to forget John Edwards as well but he needed a first place finish. He may now start to hammer away at Hillary. Buckle your seatbelts, this really gets good now. Results are updated here. refresh for latest results as the night rolls on.
