How Much Longer for Ron Paul?

Ron Paul is unelectable, right?  He was asked that in a recent debate hosted by Fox news and the ten-term US Congressman from Texas took offense.  He claimed that he was the only true Republican and ripped off a litany of reasons why he should be considered electable.  But he can't win and now it appears that he can't even really make a dent in the process.

How Much Longer for Ron Paul?

Supporters of Ron Paul will claim because they back him with cash that he is the superior candidate and should be considered as a "top tier candidate."  His supporters used to scream that the polls showing him with low numbers were rigged and they would show us all once the primaries and caucuses began in earnest.   Well, here we are and where is Ron Paul?

He is right where he always has been, right on the fringe and with no hope of the nomination.  His support is finite and small.  Furious text polling, countless Internet YouTube videos and all of the money bombs, blimps and other gimmicks have convinced very few to move over to Ron Paul to support his campaign.

This was an easy prediction and most saw it from the start.  There were a few that believed that he might be ready for prime time but his claim to fame so far is second place in the uncontested Nevada Caucuses.  Right now the GOP nomination process is an absolute mess, and if there was ever a time for someone like Ron Paul to emerge this would have bee the year.  But Dr. Paul just doesn't have the skills or the message to resonate with the mainstream voters that tend to elect presidents.

The only remaining question now seems to be when will he drop out.  How much longer, Ron Paul?
