It looks like the Mike Huckabee campaign is not dead yet.  The former Arkansas Governor is winning states.   He has already captured West Virginian earlier today, thanks to a deal with John McCain he upset Mitt Romney in that state, and it was resolved early in the day.  Bad news for Rush Limbaugh and the rest of the right wing talkers that tried to say that a vote for Huck was a vote against Mitt Romney.

It looks like Huck has a slight lead in Georgia and he also has taken Alabama, according to Fox News.  It appears that conservative voters on the GOP side are still not convinced of Mitt Romney's credentials that he is touting as a conservative as the vote has been split between Mr. Huckabee and Mr. Romney.

There are now some states being called for even more of the candidates as the polls are closing. Romney is projected as the winner in Massachusetts.  John McCain wins Connecticut and Illinois.  McCain will also take New Jersey.  Arkansas has just closed up shop and the winners are Mike Huckabee and Hillary Clinton.

Who knew Huckabee had this much strength?  Surely not Mitt Romney, who has slammed Huck's candidacy for the last few weeks and it certainly appears that was a mistake for Romney as Huck has a lot of strength in the south.  On Super Tuesday, Huckabee could actually win five states.

Keep checking here and here for updates.  A new call is just in for McCain, he has easily taken Delaware.
