Ryan Seacrest is the hardest working man in show business. He slams through a radio gig every single day in Los Angeles, hosts American idol and also has his hand, voice and face in many other television projects. But has he grown tired of Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell? Who could blame him?

But I'm thinking no. But the host may be looking to fill a void soon as a new report from OK! Magazine claims that seven years of Idol may have finally taken its toll on Simon Cowell. Will he soon be gone in what would be quite the shake up for the number one reality TV show of all time?

OK! notes that Simon Cowell is known for his biting zingers that put down the dreams of American Idol hopefuls during the open auditions. But this season, Simon barely seems to muster up the wit to insult even the worst of singers. Several years of Idol are starting to get to Simon, and his boredom is showing.
Oliver Highman, who auditioned for Simon, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul in Charleston, S.C., tells OK! that the judges were all showing signs of ennui by the time he sang for them. “They were all a little disgusted and blasé,” he says. While Simon seemed attentive at the beginning of the audition, Oliver knew had had lost him once he fell flat on a crucial note. “Simon dropped his pen, and it was over,” Oliver laughs. “He did say it was horrible They didn’t show that on TV!”

But don't get to worried. Despite signs of sheer indifference, Simon plans to stay with Idol until he finishes out his contract in 2009. “Nine years is probably enough to inflict on anyone,” he tells OK!. Hang in there, Simon, two more seasons isn’t that long!
