It was one of those rumors that's so wild, so crazy, it seemed like it just might be true. Hey, crazier things have happened in show business. Rapper Eminem, it was reported in several media outlets, was secretly training to become a performer for World Wrestling Entertainment. No, not as a rapper for their CD releases, but as a 200 + pound professional wrestler. A perfect opponent for fellow white hip hop aficionado John Cena.

"The rumors started from Media Take Out," commented Wrestling News Desk.Com editor Matthew Cooper, and those rumors started on a day when Eminem's spokespeople were not in the office, and no one at Universal Music (to whom Eminem is contracted) knew what the story was about. So it took on a life of its own."

But after a wild day of worldwide internet reports, the matter was finally cleared up when Eminem's publicist Dennis Dennehy commented on the reports with the statement "Eminem has no interest whatsoever in becoming a wrestler."

As Wrestling News Desk's Cooper sighed, "And so ends another good one."
