During several of the presidential debates, Republican candidate Ron Paul had to publicly state that he didn't believe that the United State government was behind the 9/11 attacks.  The reason that so many of the moderators pressed Ron Paul on the matter was that so many of his supporters believe it.   They still do and they are not afraid to say it, even though Paul was very uncomfortable discussing it.

Now some of his supporters have some more company. Rosie O'Donnell used to spout this stuff from time to time on the ABC chat show "The View" (Was she a Ron Paul supporter?) and now Oscar winning actress Marion Cotillard has tossed her two cents worth into the mix on the attacks on 9/11.  She believes they are a hoax.

Great job by the Academy giving this lady a forum.  The French actress took home the "Best Actress" award at the Oscars for her role as singer Edith Piaf in "La Vie En Rose."  I haven't watched the film, for all I know she was great in it.  I would have preferred Ellen Page in "Juno".

But as Marion Cotillard took home the little golden boy named Oscar now she believes she has a forum and certainly she is ready to use it to make a name for herself as the deep thinker that she surely believes that she is.  Here's her brilliance on display.  According to the UK Daily Mail the actress said this referring to the two passenger jets being flown into the Twin Towers.

Cotillard said, according to the paper, "We see other towers of the same kind being hit by planes. Are they burned? They [sic] was a tower, I believe it was in Spain, which burnt for 24 hours. It never collapsed. None of these towers collapsed. And there [in New York], in a few minutes, the whole thing collapsed."

She must watch Rosie online.  The rest of the interview is here.  She is 32 years old and aloes believes the reason the United States destroyed the towers is because they were a "money-sucker".  She also questions the 1969 moon landing.
