Who would want Kurt Cobain's identity? Well, his social security number is apparently still worth some serious coin if you don't get greedy and don't get caught. But as life rolls through for 'stupid criminals' sometimes that is the way it goes. Greed gets you busted. Kurt hasn't risen from the dead nor is he wandering around in a zombie like state. In fact he will have been dead for 14 years this April, but his identity lives on and not only with his music. He apparently a pretty good credit score as well.

The Nirvana front-man apparently bought a house in New Jersey last year reportedly worth $3.2 million. No kidding thought his ex Courtney Love? The story came to light this week and the case has been exposed by Love, who claims around $16 million has been embezzled from her former husband's bank account.

Seattelist reports that the "Ever-vigilant and -cognizant Love claims she'd known of the fraud for some time. "No one believed me until now," she said recently. Given Love's track record for lucid honesty, that is hard to believe. But hey, she's obviously more with-it than the morons involved in the Jersey mansion's sale."

And her sense of humor remains intact. The publication reports that she says if her husband Kurt is still alive and making real estate purchases Love says "he should probably get his ass back home."
