What would we do without experts?  A plot was unveiled by police acting on a tip that some very young 3rd grade students from Center Elementary in Waycross, Georgia were plotting to kill their teacher.  They had a detailed plan, each student would have a particular chore in the attack, and they had gathered the items necessary to carry out the horrific plot.

Students brought a crystal paperweight to crack into the skull of the teacher and one was supposed to cover the window with paper to keep prying eyes of witnesses out.  Police also say that they recovered steak knife with a broken handle, steel handcuffs and other items that were to be used in the plan.

Now here come the experts.  A bunch of physiatrists are chiming in and saying that even though the plan was thought out very well and the kids had the tools, they would likely not have fallowed through with the attack.  Are they kidding?  Nope.

An article from the Associated press cites Dr. Louis Kraus, a child psychiatry expert at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and he says that the kids may have started the attacks but likely would have never completed it. "The reality is it is highly unlikely they would have been successful at this," Kraus said. "Even if it had begun, it's unclear whether they actually would have followed through with it."

Thanks for playing doctor.  If you were a teacher would you bet your life on this doctor's analysis?  The reactions to this have been mostly shock and many have wondered what exactly these kids parents have been doing while raising their kids, but other than a few "experts" that have never even treated these kids, few are saying that they don't believe they would have gone through with the plot.
