The chemistry between partners on Dancing With the Stars has resulted in at least two off-screen couples and many romance rumors. The latest is Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough. The buxom actress and her shirtless partner were photographed on the beach sharing a kiss and now all eyes will be on them tonight as they perform.

Is this a cougar alert? She is only thirty-four years old so that might be a stretch but the hunky Derek is just a baby at age twenty-two. Is there anything going on between the two? It seems unclear at this point but earlier she addressed the possibility.

A link to the red-hot beach kissing scene is here. In Touch reported earlier that Shannon admits the whole idea of her dancing on the show made her boyfriend, a math teacher, nervous. "He was worried before he knew who my partner was," Shannon tells In Touch. "People were saying I should get Maksim [Chmerkovskiy] as my partner, so I showed him a picture of Maks and he got a little concerned."

Luckily for her boyfriend, Maksim took the season off - and the America Pie actress was paired with Derek Hough. "My boyfriend say Derek walk through the door and it was okay," she says. "He knows I've never dated a blonde guy. Plus, Derek's 22 and I'm a few years older!"
