Joe Jonas of the "Jonas Brothers" has spoken out on the Miley Cyrus racy photos scandal and he is defending his pal. The young singer spoke with Michael Yo on today’s “Yo on E!” defending pal Miley Cyrus. Jonas expressed his support of his friend, while also dishing on the band’s upcoming album, image and crushes.

When he was asked if he has logged on to take a look at the pictures of Miley Cyrus floating around the web that show her flashing her underwear he told Michael, "I don’t think so." But when pushed he admitted it and followed with, "Yeah… We’re good friends of hers, and we got her back and we love her to death."

Yo asked, "Doesn’t it stink that you guys have a great image and Miley has a great image, but everyone seems to come after you because they want some dirt on you? How do you control that because people are looking at you guys too?"
Joe: “I think it’s just the way you come out of it. As much as they say, no one’s perfect and everybody makes their mistakes. I think it’s the way you handle it and come out of it the proper and respectful way."

Q: "Eight months ago you’re on tour with Miley Cyrus, now you’re kicking off your second tour, and you’re brand new CD is dropping August 19th."
Joe: "We’re so excited. It’s so great. It’s been amazing. We’ve done a lot of traveling overseas. We went to Mexico and Europe. It was just the coolest thing ever.”
Q: "Now, you guys have a great image of course in the media and with your fans, you appeal to the younger fans. With your new CD are you worried about being stuck in that stereotype?"

Joe: “You know, we’re not trying to get out of any genre by any means. We really love our fan base, and they’re just the best and we really understand that they’re kind of growing up along with us, and when we write songs that are relevant to who we are, we believe that our fans will relate as we grow up… And the record is a really fun, upbeat record that I think fans will really enjoy, and there’s some songs coming your way.”
