Is papa Joe causing problems between Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and his sweetie Jessica Simpson. A new report from OK! Magazine claims that Jessica and Tony are desperately trying to make their relationship work without the outside influences from her father. Joe seems to always be on the defensive and the tabloids love to hammer him with criticism.

Many of the weekly entertainment magazine reports still cite insiders that blame dad for the split of Jessica's marriage to Nick Lachey. And now that Ashlee Simpson is engaged and possible pregnant is Jessica taking a back seat to her little sister?

She tried to grab some attention by licking cake off of Tony during his 28th birthday celebration. The photos were released to all of the tabloids and made their rounds on the World Wide Web. The claim from the article in this week's OK! magazine is that Joe is constantly around and Tony finds that odd.

The article even brings up that dreaded Mexican vacation right before the Dallas Cowboys were defeated at home in the NFL playoffs. Many blamed Joe for the leak of the trip plans and tons of Cowboys fans blamed the distraction for the loss in the playoffs.
