North Carolina Primary Results: Clinton Camp Predicts Obama Blowout

Can Barack Obama take out the Hillary Clinton campaign with a huge blowout win in North Carolina?  According to insiders that have leaked information to Matt Drudge, Hillary Clinton's inner circle now fears a stinging defeat is likely in North Carolina.  Many had believed that the tide was turning and that Clinton had cut into the once substantial lead Obama enjoyed.

The number the Clinton camp is citing is huge.  The report claims that it might be as much as a fifteen-point loss for Clinton, well into the double digits.  Is this just a preliminary strike by the Clinton campaign to lower expectations for the North Carolina primary results?  That would be smart politics and a wise move.

That way if Hillary wins in Indiana and loses by single digits in North Carolina she can still claim that she is the candidate with momentum.  It has been a very tough few weeks for Barack Obama and he has never seemed to really rebound from his many issues that voters have with hios past.

His pastor problem with Jeremiah Wright tossed him off message for several weeks and now he is being accused of political expediency for his latest speech where he claimed he had no idea that his mentor and father figure harbored so much hate and preached divisiveness.  But that might not matter in North Carolina.
