Who gets voted off American idol on elimination night? It is results night for the Fox reality TV program and it is time for another elimination for one of the four remaining contestants. Will we have a shocking elimination of David Cook or David Archuleta? Or is it the battle of Syesha Mercado vs. Jason Castro? There are those that are predicting that Cook might wind up in the bottom two and that would make it interesting, especially for next week. There is even speculation that Jason Castro is ready to throw in the towel. On purpose. Has he tired of the show?

One report from TMZ claims that when you slow down the tape from Tuesday night's show Jason mouths the words "Don't Vote" when he is standing behind host Ryan Seacrest as he reads off the telephone numbers for Castro fans to call in and voted for the dreadlocked singer.

Others are certain he is saying "Vote, vote." It is hard to say. There is also a David Archuleta conspiracy theory that is floating around. The claim there ius that the idol judges are nothing more than sheep and they are praising everything the would be seventeen year old star in the making sings. Praising him last night was fine, but if he is the best that this show has to offer this season, the show is in trouble.

Update - David Archuleta is safe and David Cook is safe. Syesha Mercado is in the Top 3! You go girl! The elimination is no surprise, Jason Castro has been voted off.
