Jessica Simpson's six-month relationship with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo continues to be strong, which is why Jess is ready to take the romance to the next level...and beyond. At the Spanish Kitchen in LA on April 29, the singer was overheard saying that she wants to have a baby - and soon! Her sister Ashlee Simpson will soon be married and is rumored to be pregnant as well.

"Jessica spent the whole time ogling a friend's baby while eating with the friend and the child," an eyewitness tells Life & Style Weekly. "She said she can't wait to have babies of her own - like now!"

Could Jess, 27, have babies on the brain because her younger sister, Ashlee, 23, is expecting her first child with fiancé Pete Wentz, the magazine asks. "Jessica didn't say anything about Ashlee, but there was this awkward pause after what she said about wanting children," says the eyewitness.

But Jess can't be in too much of a hurry for motherhood. "She and the friend were drinking margaritas with their fajitas," says the witness. "So she's not pregnant - yet." But she is in love. "I love this guy," Jessica says about Tony, 28, in the June issue of Glamour magazine.
