Ellen DeGeneres and longtime love Portia de Rossi are set to marry. The syndicated talk show host and the former 'Ally McBeal' actress have been dating for four years. Now Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres will tie the knot get hitched after the California Supreme Court overruled the state's ban on gay marriage.

Ellen made the announcement during the filming of her TV show last week right after the announcement. De Rossi, 35, who was in the studio, and DeGeneres, 50, were applauded by audience members and they cheered the very popular talk show host on.

Ellen has always used her platform for gay rights, and she has not disappointed this time. Speaking about the change in law, Ellen said: "I'm thrilled that the California Supreme Court overturned the ban on gay marriage. I can't wait to get married.
