Is Elizabeth Hurley actually Susanna Mercer?  An interesting look inside the life and times of "Rescue Me" actor Denis Leary and Elizabeth Hurley is provided by his wife Ann Leary in her new book "Outtakes From A Marriage," and we get a bit of theory from the New York Daily news gossip column Rush and Molloy and it appears that they believe that the still very sexy Elizabeth is indeed Susanna.

The outtakes that have been provided make this sound like an interesting book, especially if you believe that the references to the characters are actually Liz, Denis and Ann.  The News even tosses in an incident when Denis was enraged when the paparazzi snapped his photo wit the sexy Elizabeth in a London restaurant.

One small piece of the book makes this very interesting, especially if you take the character leap provided by Rush and Molloy.  In the book, Susanna (that would be Liz) "has no female friends," but invites Joe (As in Denis) and his stay-at-home wife, Julia (Ann) to her party, telling them the dress is casual.  She then paints this smiling picture of a scantily clad and teasing Elizabeth - uh - Susanna.

She writes, "Susanna wore a flimsy, and completely sheer, floor-length gown. ... Your eye was naturally drawn to the body underneath ... a body that appeared flawless, and was, except for the small triangle concealed by a pink lacy thong, plainly visible to all. ... Her breasts managed to stay firmly uplifted without the benefit of a bra."   Whoo - okay, that is one sexy image of Liz.  This should get readers attention.    The News notes that they have yet to hear back from Ann about their theory, but it certainly makes me want to take a look.
