In the world of father-daughter relationships, we're approaching quite a few that are just plain creepy. With the whole Lindsay Lohan saga with daddy Lohan along with papa Joe and Jessica Simpson, it is considered by some to be a bit of a mess. Add in Hulk Hogan rubbing tanning oil on his daughter Brooke Hogan, Britney Spears' dad running her estate and looking to sell her house while pulling down a salary, Lionel Richie's odd "hands-off" approach to his wild child Nicole's partying before she had a child, and where the hell is Paris Hilton's father by the way?

We could write a huge story on Lindsay Lohan's constantly-in-trouble pops as well. But no dad is as controversial as Joe Simpson. "Papa Joe" to the celeb reporters. The controlling patriarch of the Simpson family has been blamed for everything from Jessica's stalled career to the breakup of her marriage and the breakup of every relationship in Jessica's life. He's also been the subject of wild stories, since he has a creepy habit of being tied to statements about his daughter's ample bosom.

One such story is that Joe fitted young Jess for her first training bra. During a recent radio appearance in California, Jessica decided to address the rumors once and for all. "There have been stories that are ridiculous," Simpson who is promoting her new country album said. "Like my father really fit me for a training bra. Like, who believes that kind of thing!?"

When asked why she's turned to country, Jessica said "I really just wanted to showcase the talent that God has given me and I don't believe that in pop music I ever had the chance to stand on two feet and stand firm."
