The American tour kicks off on July 1 in Glendale, Arizona and season seven winner David Cook says he is ready. With his dominating win and soaring popularity, David Cook is the absolute headliner for the tour. Cook says that he is looking forward to meeting the fans. "I'm going to get to know the people who put me where I am," he says.

The best part of the tour for runner-up David Archuleta, 17? "There's no judging, so you can't get kicked off." Expect Kristy Lee Cook to get a little wild. "The set I have for the tour is rockin' and I'm excited," says Kristi Lee, 24, who had a more country vibe on Idol. "People will get to see the side of me as a performer who's rocking out. It'll be fun."

According to a report from In Touch Weekly, Carly Smithson is all packed up and can't wait to see the country. "I'll be taking makeup, a hair dryer and a curling iron," says the 24 year old. "I just want to enjoy every city." Jason Castro is looking for the experience of the road. "I'm looking forward to sleeping on the bus. And I bet they have a nice ride for us," says Jason Castro, 21. His advice? "Don't wake me up while I'm sleeping. It's obnoxious."

"We all laugh a lot and have good times," reports Brooke White. The 25 year old plans to rest her voice every chance she gets. "There will be no talking during the day. It's all about the music."
