There is no feud with Miley Cyrus. So sayeth teen star Selena Gomez. And why would there be, it seems like no matter which way it turns Selena Gomez is stepping up while many believe Miley Cyrus has hit the pinnacle and is on the way down, at least when competing for a very young audience. Cyrus is still very much on top, but some think that is about to change with Selena.

She is going to get competition from Selena. In a recent interview with In Touch she hit all the right notes and even talked about her dog and sharing the spotlight with her dog Wille. "I love all animals," professes Selena Gomez. "I've had turtles, rabbits and chickens - I guess because I'm from Texas," says the 15 year old. But since becoming one of the most popular teen queens thanks to her role on the hit Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place, Selena's life has totally gone to the dogs, the magazine reports.
"I have four huge dogs, but today I brought Willie because he's got a really special place in my heart," she tell In Touch about the Chow/Labrador mix she adopted from her neighbor.

What makes Willie, 4, the perfect pet? "Despite being my biggest dog, he likes to cuddle and snuggle up on the couch, and that's what I love to do," Selena says. "If I'm going to watch a movie with one of my dogs, it will definitely be Willie.
He can be the pillow," she laughs. "What I like about dogs is that they need your love and attention," says Selena. "Dog people are awesome." It's hard not to love that. Whether there is a feud or not, will Selena dethrone Miley?
