Britney Spears traveled home for the birth of her sister Jamie Lynn Spears first child, but the singer's happiness quickly turned to heartbreak, according to a report from Life & Style. Is Britney jealous of the attention Jamie Lynn spears is getting for the baby? Or is this all overblown and Louisiana just makes Britney nervous.

A hospital insider told the magazine, "She (Britney) couldn't have been in Jamie Lynn's room for more than 30 minutes total. She kept going in and then coming out, wandering around. Everyone else couldn't get enough of the baby, but Britney didn't seem interested."

Indeed, Britney left the hospital at noon, never to return, the article notes. Instead, she curtailed her trip, returning to LA on Friday, June 20, with her father, Jamie. "Britney had every intention of staying through Monday, but she was so emotional, she just had to leave," says a Spears family insider.

"She was very excited at first, but sitting there watching everyone gushing over Jamie Lynn took its toll on her. Seeing Jamie Lynn so happy with her baby reminded Britney that her time with her sons, Sean and Jayden, is so limited now."
