Is there a baby battle between the spears sisters? There have been reports that Britney Spears was a bit overwhelmed at the birth of Maddie Briann, the new little baby girl of Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge. Some reports from the hospital claimed that Britney Spears was acting a bit off during her short stay back home when Jamie Lynn gave birth.

But OK! Magazine calls Jamie Lynn an inspiration for Britney and they report that after visiting her new niece, Britney Spears vows to get her boy back. A report in the magazine claims that Britney's progress and determination can be directly attributed to her visit with her 17-year-old sister.

Britney was at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on June 19 when Jamie Lynn gave birth and then raced back to L.A. the very next day so she wouldn't miss her scheduled June 21 visit with Sean, 2, and Jayden, 22 months. Other reports have said that Britney left in a huff and she was swamped by paparazzi when she returned home to Los Angeles.

Is Britney jealous of Jamie Lynn or has the unmarried 17-year old teen mom inspired her older sister? One would think it is the months her dad Jamie has spent working with Britney trying to help her get her life back on track.
