Has Jamie Lynn Spears followed the lead of her big sister Britney Spears and given her boyfriend Casey Aldridge the boot? From the outside one could easily say that Britney Spears has tumbled downward since dumping her one-time husband Kevin Federline, so why would Jamie Lynn follow Britney's lead? It would seem like a bit of a gamble but a report now claims that Jamie Lynn and Casey aren't spending much time together.

Star magazine reports that after giving birth to her daughter, Maddie Briann, on June 19, everybody expected Jamie Lynn to go home to the Liberty, Miss., home she shares with boyfriend Casey Aldridge. But the former Zoey 101 star had plans of her own.

According to a family insider cited by the magazine, the teen has been holed up in her room at Serenity, her family's Kentwood, La., estate. And she won't let anyone too close to the infant - not even her mom, Lynne! "Jamie Lynn is with the baby day and night and refuses to let anyone hold her, and that includes her mom," says in insider. "When Casey comes around, Jamie Lynn tells him to leave."
Casey Aldridge has retreated to Liberty willingly, the report claims, but his mom, Joyce, is putting up a fight. "She calls Serenity every day, and it annoys Jamie Lynn to no end," adds the source. "If Joyce has her way, Casey would be forced to spend more time with the baby, even though he seem uninterested in fatherhood." At last count Casey and Jamie Lynn were still engaged, will they make it to the altar?
