Hell's Kitchen Winner: Season 4 Goes to Christina Machamer

The winner of the 2008 edition of Hell's Kitchen is in and season four has ended. Christina Machamer has grabbed the title and she is the winner of the Fox Reality TV show, just edging out Louis Petrozza a pastry chef from Charlote, North Carolina.  I can't say I was surprised that Christina Machamer took the night and season four as she certainly deserved the victory and there was little question in my mind that she would take the title.

In fact it almost made the night anti-climactic and it certainly seemed like the show was a whole lot of ill and like most taped finale shows of any reality TV series it seems like it just takes way too long to get to the final announcement of the winner.

Congrats to Christina Machamer, a repot in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch says that the chef entered on a whim when the contest held its auditions in Los Angeles last year.  It has certainly paid off for the chef from Missouri, as she will now head to New York City to begin her publicity tour and gets that $250,000 deal.

It's probably time to make these finales more interesting as at times they are tough to watch, especially when the outcome is as clear as this one was. Chef Gordon Ramsay's rantings aside, this show was too much fluff and not enough substance.  That said, Christina Machamer certainly deserved the title and the job, she was fantastic.
