Will American idol meet Dancing with the Stars? The actual shows may not quite cross over as they are competitors for the reality television viewing audience but one time American idol star Kellie Pickler may have an interest in bringing her talents and personality to the ABC reality TV stage.

OK! Magazine reports this week that starring on one reality show isn't enough for American Idol alum Kellie Pickler. After putting her vocal cords to the test in AI's season five, she now hopes to feature her footwork on ABC's Dancing With the Stars. She would be a good catch for DWTS as she has a strong audience in country music that would surely tune in and watch.

According to the report from OK! the country singer confided to her friend and DWTS star Julianne Hough - who, in a career swap herself, is attempting to make it in Nashville - that she would like to compete on the show. "I used to do gymnastics for a while. I told Julianne I thought it would be fun," Kellie, 22, tells OK!.

Kellie says she realizes that she is no Julianne Hough on the dance floor although she does admit she does know how to "shale it". she would be a blast for the show, her personality alone would make for interesting television.
