Jessica Simpson Booed by County Fans, Heckled, Report Claims

Jessica Simpson was booed and heckled at her very first country concert a report claims.  The buxom girlfriend of NFL quarterback Tony Romo was in his home state of Wisconsin for Country Thunder and a report from the local newspaper claims that many of the country music fans at the event were highly critical of Jessica Simpson and she was met with boos and hecklers from the audience.

Her first single "Come On Over" is catchy enough and has received some pretty good reviews but perhaps the fans aren't quite ready to welcome the one-time pop princess over to country music just yet.

The paper reports that the fans were rough, with the usual slams at the blonde that include mocking her dating of the starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. "Just because she's dating Tony Romo it doesn't make her country," one fan is quoted by the paper as saying in his critique.

The paper has a photo of Jessica and she appears to be going for the look she took on in the "Dukes of Hazzard."  She has some very short shorts on (read Daisy Dukes) cowboy boots and a tight white shirt as she belts away songs on stage.
