The "Janet Jackson Wardrobe Malfunction" is now free. Justin Timberlake ripped off a piece of Janet Jackson's top during the 2004 Super Bowl and fans were stunned to see Janet exposed. Someone is the Jackson camp called the breast flash a 'wardrobe malfunction" and the term has stuck in pop culture lexicon thanks to the likes of Tara Reid and Britney Spears. While the buzz was tremendous after the game, CBS likely wasn't amused as they were ordered to pay over a half-million dollars for airing too much skin.

Now another court has overturned that ruling and the cost for Justin Timberlake "getting her naked by the end of this song" is now free. Some three judge panel that must enjoy a little half-time peep show told CBS to keep their cash and they ruled that the Federal Communications Commission "acted arbitrarily and capriciously" with its punishment for the brief nudity at halftime, the AP reports this morning.
I guess that means Britney Spears and Madonna will be desperately trying to sign on to perform at this year's Super Bowl.
