Is there any video of the alleged John Edwards and Rielle Hunter meeting in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton? How about some photos? What sounds like an unbelievable confrontation took place between former Democratic presidential hopeful (and an apparent finalist for a possible vice president nod from Barack Obama) and reporters and photographers, according to the report.

John Edwards and reporters from the Enquirer met up in a hotel showdown of sorts, according to the weekly magazine. Why wasn't TMZ there with their cameras? The Enquirer published the story online, and according to their report they were tipped off that Edwards would be meeting with Rielle Hunter and they sent reporters to stake out the hotel.

That led to a lot of first person reports on a meeting with Edwards in the hotel after he left a room where the Enquirer claims Hunter was staying. The reporters tried to close in on Edwards and hit him with the love child questions (among other questions as well) but Edwards ran up the stairs away from the reporters. See the whole story here.

He then reportedly bolted for a hotel bathroom and didn't leave until security showed up. Keep in mind, this is all happening at about 3:00 a.m. on the West Coast. Edwards finally left the bathroom but wouldn't answer questions. The magazine seems to have had several reporters on scene and these aren't unnamed sources, the whole story names their reporters and has times cited in the article. It should be interesting to see what they have this week in the magazine.
