The fox Reality TV giant American idol was well represented at the Teen Choice Awards 2008.  Both David Archuleta and David Cook, the two finalists from the reality television competition for season seven, took home surfboards on Sunday night's Teen Choice awards.  The David and David show was back in the bright lights of Hollywood.

Many observers, fans and even pundits believed that David Archuleta was the favorite to win the 2008 season because of his rabid fan base that cheered him at each turn.  The 17-year-old star from Utah had the young girls screaming at each performance on the show.

In the end, it was the older women that won it for Blue Springs, Mo. Rocker David Cook.  Many credited the older voting bloc (Remember that "Cougars for Cook" sign) of females for the victory for David Cook over David Archuleta.  On Sunday, the rabid fans of David Archuleta got back just a little bit as they were recognized.

In the category of "Most Fanatic Fans" it was no contest this time, David Archuleta won this one hands down.  In other AI results, American Idol won in the "TV Reality Music Competition" and David Cook won in the "TV Male Reality/Variety Star" category.  See more photos of the event linked here.  The show will air Monday night on the Fox Network at 8 p.m. Eastern and 7 p.m. Central.
