Who knew David Archuleta could even date? The runner up of this year's American idol may have lost to eventual winner and new rock star David Cook on the seventh season of American idol but the young man is well on his way to a very successful career. His first single is out online and as much as I would like to hate it "Crush" isn't all that bad.

And it appears that life on the road may have pushed David Archuleta a bit to break out of his shell. According to a report from OK! Magazine the singer is looking for a nice gal and he is seeking a woman that likes "adventure."

In a brief item on the magazine's website that reads more like an online dating a than a report from the Teen Choice Awards where David's rabid fans took home an award for being the most intense fans (see here) David spills that he isn't looking for a gal to sit around on the couch and play video games with. He wants a young lady with a bit of a wild side.

"She has to be fun, have respect for herself and be adventurous," he said. He should certainly find plenty of those on the road on the American idol tour.
