Morgan Freeman has been involved in a car accident in Mississippi and there will be photos of the wrecked 1997 Nissan Maxima as a person at the scene apparently was quick and ready to take pictures of Morgan Freeman and the wreckage with his cell phone, a report from AOL's Entertainment and Celebrity website TMZ.Com.

Details of the car crash are becoming more complete since the early morning reports that were a bit cloudier.  The newsroom at TMZ notes that the actor was in crash in a 1997 Nissan Maxima with Freeman at the wheel and now identified passenger Demaris Meyer was in the car as well when it went off the shoulder of the road and flipped over around 11:30 p.m. in the city of Ruleville.

Other reports claim that the car rolled several times during the wild auto accident.  According to a report from Us Weekly magazine, Clay McFerrin - an editor of Sun Sentinel in Charleston who arrived at the accident scene - said paramedics had to use "the jaws of life to extract him from the vehicle."

It's unclear how may pictures of the wreck will become available and be published online but when one person tried to snap a photo with a cell phone camera, Freeman joked, "no freebies, no freebies," McFerrin said.  Freeman's injuries are apparently no laughing matter.  He broke his shoulder and arm in the rollover car crash.
