Most of the time when we see a love triangle involving American Idol and country star Carrie Underwood it is with the usual Jessica Simpson, Tony Romo and Carrie Underwood triangle and accusations.

This time it is a bit different, world class athlete Amanda Beard (who has no trouble disrobing and showing off her body in the pages of Playboy) and Carrie Underwood are linked by gossips to the same guy. That one man happens to be the guy with all of the gold and that is Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.
