Is Michael Phelps now the most eligible bachelor in the US? Move over Jennifer Aniston ex John Mayer, Phelps and his eight gold medals have drawn interest and rumors about Amanda Beard, Carrie Underwood and Lindsay Lohan for the popular Olympic champion. Amanda Beard first dissed Michael Phelps pretty good on a radio interview, but now she has said Beard now says she is sorry and she was only kidding when she said kissing Phelps was "eww!"

Amanda Beard vs. Lindsay Lohan for Phelps Attention?

Phelps might be able to get Lindsay Lohan to switch teams. There is a report that says that the actress is desperate to land a meeting with Olympic champion Michael Phelps. In 2004 a report from the Detroit Free Press notes that Phelps said of Lilo, "Lindsay Lohan. She's pretty hot."

Is she still hot enough in 2008? Perhaps. Billy Bush of Access Hollywood brought Phelps this text response from Lohan: "Tell him he's (expletive) amazing, and I want to meet him." Oh the humanity! "That's pretty cool," Phelps told Bush on the nightly syndicated news show.
