Heath Ledger died unexpectedly as the filming of the summer blockbuster "The Dark Knight" was wrapping up. His next project that would wrap would be "The Imaginarium of Dr Parmassus." he had already filmed scenes for the film, but Ledger had not updated his will after the birth of Matilda, leaving Matilda Ledger's claim to her father's fortune unknown, but the three actors who have completed the late star's final film role have helped guarantee the little girl’s financial security.

Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell have shown their respect for the Australian actor who died way too young and they have reportedly agreed to give away any money they make from the film, "The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus" and they will then take that money and donate it to Heath Ledger's three-year-old daughter Matilda.

A great gift and a noble gesture. While footage of Ledger will be used in the film, the trifecta of actors and friends of Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell also played versions of his character Tim in Terry Gilliam’s fantasy epic - made possible because the story crosses from London to parallel worlds.
"The three actors were totally heroic coming in,” Gilliam said. ”This doesn’t happen very often … where there’s a tragedy like this, and very famous, very successful actors suddenly say, ‘OK, we’ll do whatever it takes to help.’
