Bruce Springsteen Take Two: No DNC for the Boss

Will Bruce Springsteen take his politics and his music to the Mile-High city of Denver and close the Democratic National Convention this week at Invesco Field in front of 70,000 plus?  One would think that Springsteen might be a little bit snakebit from the last election where he publicly tossed himself behind the failed candidacy of John Kerry.

Reports early on from the Democratic National Convention made claims that Bruce Springsteen and Jon bon Jovi would make an appearance on the final night of the DNC and fill the Rocky Mountain night air with some classic music to close the event.

It may have sounded good on paper but a report from the Washington Post tells fans of "The Boss" not to start booking that late flight to Denver for any last minute appearance as the paper claims that Springsteen will be no where near Colorado on Thursday night.

According to an item online from the Post titled, " Sorry, Conventioneers: No Bruce For You" (ah the inevitable Seinfeld reference) "A source in Springsteen's camp tells The Washington Post that The Boss won't be anywhere near Invesco Field on Thursday."
