Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has made history and the former Miss Alaska 1984 beauty pageant contestant is the very first Republican woman to be nominated as a Vice Presidential candidate.  She is a gun-toting "hocky mom" and mother of five and certainly looks as if she is going to be an asset for the MCcain campaign.

Many Democratic commentators seem in a full blown panic on Friday as they desperately try to figure out how to attack Sarah Palin.  They were given a hint by Barack Obama as the one time community organizer actually had the gall to attack her service as a mayor of a small town of 9,000 people.  Is that really the way they want to attack her?

Of course Obama isn't much a fan of small town America as he once ripped into residents of small town and claimed that the residents in those towns made a desperate attempt to cling to their church, God and guns when times were tough.

Before Governor Sarah Palin was named McCain's Vice Presidential nominee today, few people knew anything about the woman that may be vice president.  As America gets to know here, will they like what they see?
