Bristol Palin is pregnant. There has been all sorts of speculation and some really bitter reports trying to combine the pregnancy of Sarah Palin, John McCain's new running mate, and her daughter Bristol Palin and Trig Paxon Van Palin, the little boy that was born to Sarah Palin four months ago. It got really ugly over the weekend.

But now Sarah Palin has admitted that her daughter is pregnant and she is going to get married. The parents released a statement saying that they support their daughter's decision to keep the baby and they note that she is about five months along in her pregnancy.

John McCain is said to have known all of the information about the pregnancy and he decided that it would not stop him from picking her as his veep candidate. This should bring all sorts of wild accusations and gossip and surely will cause conservatives pause and liberals will be ruthless as they attack Sarah Palin and her daughter Bristol.

Should the pregnancy of the young girl be an issue in the campaign? Remember earlier that Barack Obama said he did not want his daughter's punished with a baby if they got pregnant.
