Us Weekly magazine is on the attack and under attack. The Us Magazine cover this week features GOP Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin on the over with the screaming headline "Babies, Lies & Scandal." The weekly entertainment magazine had before ran a cover of Barack Obama and "why he loves" his wife Michelle. The cover is now under a furious attack from supporters of Sarah Palin.

There are thousands of comments online at the magazine's website and most are negative. This isn't the usual fair of Angelina Jolie supporters and Jennifer Aniston supporters, these are people that follow politics and they are furious. Adrienne writes "I find it appalling that US Weekly is so blatantly biased with respect to it's "political" coverage--fawning over Obama and his wife and trashing Sarah Palin over private family matters that make no difference to her ability to be a fantastic VP. I remember once upon a time when so-called "journalists" at least attempted to appear remotely unbiased."

She adds, " I'm ashamed that the people we are supposed to be able to turn to for news have now turned to spouting their opinion, whether or not anyone cares or has asked for it. I understand that US Weekly is merely a "gossip" magazine, but the magazine's treatment of Mrs. Palin and her family is completely inappropriate."
"Oh, and "P.S." Most people don't give a hoot why Obama loves Michelle-- last time I checked that also has absolutely nothing to do with how Obama would perform, or not perform, as President." Ouch!

More here including more blistering comments like this one, "What a shameful act. Your lack of human decency is evident in your cover with Sarah Palin. What an unfair contrast with Obama's cover. You are seeking to influence people's votes by painting a slanderous picture. However, I see through this and will choose NOT to ever pick up your publication!"
