While the Dallas Cowboys prepare for a week one battle against the Cleveland Browns, quarterback Tony Romo's girlfriend Jessica Simpson may be making a move back to Nick Lachey. Jessica recently said that she was over Nick and hoped to be married again in ten years. Now a report suggests that Nick and Jessica may be headed towards a reconciliation.

Mike Walker of the National Enquirer has this, "Jessica Simpson - who made reality TV history on "Newlyweds" when she asked then hubby Nick Lachey if "Chicken of the Sea" was really "chicken...or tuna?" - is just dying to ditz again! Freaked about her sagging singer career, Jessica approached Nick about re-teaming for a new show, reports a source, and he's mulling the so-wacky-it-might-work idea."

Walker cites a source that says, "It'd be like Sonny and Cher, who continued their TV show after their divorce - and a field day for joke writers. According to Walker the source then added that Jessica's current beau, Tony Romo sees no problem with it if that is what Jessica wants.

"Tony doesn't see Nick as a threat, and he'd love Jess to stay busy during football season." It seems like a pretty good reach to try and get another show out of Jessica and Nick. Would it even work?
