It was a stunning night for UFC 88.  The main event from Atlanta was a bout between MMA legend Chuck Liddell and undefeated Rashad Evans.  It was KO and the incredible right handed punch was like lightning bolt out of nowhere as Evans threw a one punch knock out at the old veteran and Chuck Liddell went down hard to the canvas and the bout was over.

It was an incredible blow as Chuck Liddell tried to land an uppercut but his punch never made it to the face of Rashad Evans as the fighter came straight over the top with a right hand that landed flush and it was an immediate KO. Liddell was down and it was an amazing punch.

After seeing the stunning blow one commenter writes, "Never liked Rashad as a fighter not a huge fan of boring wrestlers but wow - he looked awesome deserving of the sugar nickame!  Chuck looked like a dinosaur five years ago (Liddell) would have destroyed (Evans) but now..."  That's very well stated and Liddell looked ten years older than Evans on this night and the stunning blow has the MMA world buzzing.

A video of the crushing blow is here at YouTube.  It's definitely worth a look and watch closely as Liddell looks to unwind the uppercut, only to be stopped dead in his tracks by that big (and accurate) right hand.  All of the results for the fight are here as well.
