"High School Musical 3: Senior Year" won't appear in theaters until October, but Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens are already on Forbes magazine's 2008 list of Hollywood's "Top Paid Tweens" thanks to the wildly popular film series. Clearly, they've come a long way.

"For the first two HSM movies that aired on Disney Channel, the cast all made about the same," an insider tells In Touch Weekly. "Now that HSM 3 is headed for the big screen, all of their salaries went up, but no one made more than $3 million."

The magazine reports that although Zac, 20, has reportedly said that he won't appear in future sequels, he may be willing to reconsider. New reports claim he's asking for $8 to $10 million to sign on to HSM4!
In Touch has this for the salaries of the High School Musical young millionaires club. The magazine reports that Zac Efron reportedly made $3 million to appear in the popular series' third installment. For his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, Disney reportedly paid Vanessa $2 million - less than Zac and Ashley - because her nude photo scandal hurt her image, says the insider. Ashley Tisdale - HSM's mean girl is played by Ashley, who reportedly received $2.8 million to reprise the role.
